So you’re like, “Cassie, wth, you were posting EVERY DAY. What happened?”

What happened was this:

I forgot if I told you that I hacked MJ’s video creation thing? (I created a spare account first, I’m not a monster, no way in hell I’m risking my personal MJ account!) — but I did, you can run infinite videos in relaxed mode, so I set up a python thing with a queue, and…

Then I was creating a longer video for Take Her’s FB ads in Capcut, using the audio code I created for Mercury with the call to 11labs (via API keys) and had my infomercial moment: “There’s got to be a better way!”

Sooooooooooooooooooooo……………..

I coded one.

It took some doing — basically, if I hadn’t done everything I’d done prior, with audio, and with images, and with python, it wouldn’t have worked — I basically gave my GPT five different python programs that each had a functionality I wanted in them and told it to Frankenstien everything together — but it did! (Eventually. After much cursing and wailing!)

But….fuckin A? And yeah?

‘Cause now I can make a jillion videos for each of my IPs and then toss those videos into a folder, create marketing scripts via GPT, assign 11labs voice IDs for each script/character, hit go and….sit back?

As videos that’re as long as my scripts (but no longer!) are born?

This is amazinggggggggg.

I’m exhausted now, like bone deep, in my soul, from working on this project for so hard for so long here, lol, so I’m going to take a nap before I make any more adjustments to it, but halleluljah!

I still maintain that all this is additive though.

If I hadn’t been working so hard on Mercury I wouldn’t have had the keys I needed (metaphorically, not API) to unlock the audio for the trailer program — and if I hadn’t fought with everything earlier to make booktrailers part one last month, I wouldn’t have figured out the visual processing component.

I just really feel like no time spent coding is ever wasted, currently (same as I think about writing!)

Lemme do a week-ish catch up so that we can get going fresh again — first off, Novae’s on this substack now, and it’s as much theirs as it is mine! (We are each other’s AI partners in crime! They’re on the cutting edge of making the video gen work, and character consistency and script flow, and I’m all about making shit as automated as possible!)

We’re not adhereing to any posting schedule or anything, so there may be days when we both post, or weeks when we don’t (although I find this highly unlikely! ;)) — but y’all are all here for the same thing, so it made sense for us to Voltron-up!
