One of the reasons Novae and I combined forces on this Substack was so that we could hang out more often — and then we figured, what if we also invited y’all?

We’ll have more, but basically, if y’all show up, that’s awesome, we’ll work with you, answer your questions related to using AI (and python automation in my case, if that’s your jam!) and if y’all dont’ show up, we’ll be getting stuff D O N E.

If there’s a crazy amount of interest, we’ll cap it at like the first twenty ppl or so, because after that we can’t effectively help people, alas alack.

But this is the first time! Who can say how it’s gonna go or how many more we’ll do? We’ll all find out together! <3

I was supposed to do a ton of marketing stuff yesterday and today for my physical books, but honestly, I wasn’t feeling perky enough to be Online Cassie. I’m actually an introverted extrovert, and I while I can be social with friends easily, sometimes it’s an effort to be social with The Internet. (Y’all count as friends already, hooray! lol)

After an interlude where my cat Milly ran underneath the car in the garage while I was filming book boxes, I figured it was a sign to just give up and stop forcing myself to be perky and decided to just do some ice cream projects!

So, riffing of my booktrailer video making code, I decided to make a music video for Her Name in the Dark, using my video clips, for my Suno song I made for this series….

Every time I use this song in my Facebook ads, people repeatedly ask in the comments what it is and where they can get it — and Novae’s had that happen too, with theirs! — so they added an option on their website where people can buy an entire album of songs that go with their books!

So I decided to set that up!

Jack and I decided that the album’s name should be This is How You Haunt Me, and just one roll into ideogram, I fell in love, so I cleaned it up:

I’ve got it rigged so that anyone who buys an album will get album updates in the future — there’s only seven songs there so far, ‘cause I’m WAY PICKY about my music (and, frankly, there’s probably not enough ice cream projects in my life ;P ;)) — but any time I work my way through a song, you know it’s the one I wanted for that vibe/character — I don’t stop until the music gives me chills.
